Racial, religious, gender, age, political, cultural and economic diversity are all passionately defended. Corporations honor, respect and strut their depth and breadth of employee diversity. Here is a new one — experiential diversity. It’s a bit less known and less celebrated. This type of diversity should catch every employer’s attention and make many job seekers feel empowered. Navigating our triple-threat VUCA (volatile, uncertain, complex and ambiguous) world of pandemic, racial tensions and job losses will require open minds and compassionate hearts. Why is experiential diversity so exciting? Why is experiential diversity important as we move through change that impacts our company, team and self?
